平本正宏”NEW YORK IMPROVISATION”(TT008)2018/12/01 Release

Drawn from daily life in New York, Masahiro Hiramoto translated his experiences into sounds for this new album.
All tracks are composed using only four synthesizers (Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 08、Korg Triton, Korg Kronos X, and Korg Minilogue) at a rate of one track per day.
New York, as a center of this world that continually creates a new energy with many kinds of people crowded around Manhattan buildings, is expressed by the synthesizers’ sounds.
The pacing and different colorful sounds draw an image of New York in front of us.
This album is also connected with Hiramoto’s previous piano album, “TOKYO PIANO”, and he breaks new ground with “NEW YORK IMPROVISATION”.

平本正宏がニューヨークでの日々を音でスケッチしたアルバム。
本作は、全曲4台のシンセサイザー（Dave Smith Instruments Prophet’08、KORG TRITON/KRONOS X/minilogue）のみで即興的（＝IMPROVISATION）に1日1曲作曲された。
世界の中心地ニューヨーク。マンハッタンのビル群に様々な人種の人々が行き交い、常に新しい時代が生み出されていくエネルギーがシンセサイザーのサウンドで表現されている。
そのスピード感あふれるビート、色彩豊かなシンセサウンドを耳にすれば、目の前にニューヨークの景色が広がっていく。
「TOKYO PIANO」とも接続する本作で、平本正宏は新境地を開いた。
